Dr Margarita Kitova-John
Founder and Clinical Director
Dr Margarita Kitova-John is a GP with a passion for getting to the root of complex, chronic health issues. She founded Lantern Clinic to create the kind of care she wished existed — personal, thorough, and truly transformative.
With over a decade of NHS experience and specialist training in Functional Medicine, she supports patients with gut health issues, hormonal imbalances, and burnout. Her approach is warm, evidence-based, and always tailored to the individual.
"After more than a decade of working as a front-line GP, I have come to understand that the vast majority of chronic diseases are a result of the modern lifestyle: the food we eat, the stress we endure, and the toxic environment we live in. I believe the majority of them are preventable and reversible with the right holistic interventions.
I have learned and witnessed that the human body has the ability to repair itself. We must understand that the body's reserves are limited and that ageing negatively may affect the natural healing processes."
